Fire Protection Specialist – Sacramento, CA
We are seeking a Fire Protection Specialist to join our inside sales team in Sacramento, CA. This role is responsible for supporting outside sales representatives, processing customer orders, managing inventory, and building strong customer relationships. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of fire protection products, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments. This position offers the opportunity to drive sales while delivering expert product support and service.
As an Inside Salesperson for Fire Protection, you will have a diverse range of responsibilities, including.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; combination of education and experience considered.
Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service, order management, or a related field.
Knowledge of product handling, order processing, and inventory management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel for tracking orders and generating reports.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing orders and maintaining records.
Excellent oral and written communication skills to interact with customers and internal teams.
Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and vendors to resolve issues promptly.
Experience with inventory management, product returns, and exchanges.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Ability to work independently and handle complex situations in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with order management systems (OMS) and RF devices for inventory tracking.
Previous experience in the plumbing or Fire Protection industry is a plus.
Proven track record of building customer relationships and delivering exceptional service.
Ability to contribute to the development and improvement of customer service processes.
