PACE Supply is looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable Receptionist to join our Distribution Center in Stockton, CA. In this role, you’ll be the welcoming first point of contact for visitors, employees, customers, and business partners while helping keep the front office and daily operations running smoothly.

 

The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, and customer-focused, with strong communication and organizational skills. You’ll have the opportunity to interact with people across the organization while providing essential administrative support to the Distribution Center.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Welcome and assist visitors, employees, customers, and vendors in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls and messages.
  • Provide general administrative and clerical support to the Distribution Center.
  • Maintain accurate records, files, and office documentation.
  • Assist with coordinating office supplies and keeping the reception area organized.
  • Support day-to-day office and Distribution Center operations as needed.
  • Help create a positive and professional experience for everyone who visits or contacts PACE Supply.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, providing a welcoming and professional experience while directing guests to the appropriate department or personnel.
  • Manage incoming phone calls and inquiries, accurately routing customers, vendors, and employees to the appropriate department, division, or branch location.
  • Assist prospective employees with the completion and submission of weekly timesheets, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
  • Generate, maintain, and distribute attendance reports for prospective employees to support management decision-making and workforce planning.
  • Coordinate the ordering and replenishment of warehouse and office supplies, ensuring adequate inventory levels and cost-effective purchasing practices.
  • Prepare and distribute forklift certification badges for distribution center employees and maintain organized, accurate forklift training and certification records.
  • Coordinate the shipment of RF scanners and related equipment for repair and track repair status to minimize operational disruptions.
  • Maintain accurate filing systems and employee documentation while ensuring compliance with company policies and recordkeeping requirements.
  • Provide administrative and operational support to warehouse management and human resources teams as needed.
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a cooperative manner with customers, co-workers and managers.

Qualifications

An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.

  • High school diploma or equivalent credential required.

  • Previous experience in reception, customer service, administrative support, or a similar role preferred.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional approach.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to email, answer phone calls, and work with other departments.
  • Microsoft Office basic knowledge such as Outlook and Excel.
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, or operations environment is a plus, but not required.
